I would say that a principle of the g0y relationship is that it is discrete and not in your face. The absolute antithesis of a g0y relationship is gay pride (now there is a misnomer if ever there was1 - what is there to be proud of in those parades?) Being g0y is about deep friendships between men. If I share a confidence with a guy I care for, I certainly do not expect him to make it public. In a very similar way, if there is a physical dimension to the relationship neither would I want him to be discussing that in open forum. Though it is perhaps not good for there to be obsessive secrecy, I have to say that in the perverse world in which we live where people love sensationalism, I would certainly always err on the side of discretion.

Are there any g0y guys who feel that hiding their attractions isn’t healthy? I personally would never allow anything to happen with a guy that I felt they would be ashamed of. I wouldn’t disclose someones confidences, but I wouldn’t pursue something were I had to hide my feelings either. Questions, comments, concerns, and disagreements anyone.
